Sin duda alguna Nintendo esta apostando demasiado con la siguiente entrega de The Legend of Zelda, titulada: Breath of the Wild.
En una entrevista, Shigeru Miyamoto comentó que la razón principal por la que no existe la Elección de Género en The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, es porque quieren conservar la identidad de Link intacta, y que para ellos sería mejor realizar un juego completamente nuevo donde la heroína del Título fuera Zelda. Incluso, fue algo que el Equipo de desarrollo discutió en su momento.
“Within the development team, too, there have been talks about how it might be cool to have a game that features Sheik as a protagonist. It’s having maybe a Zelda spin-off with Sheik as a protagonist, for example, I don’t think that’s an impossibility.”
Miyamoto comenta que este Spin-Off puede ser posible.
