En una Entrevista para O Globo en Brasil, Mathieu de Fayet de Niantic, ha confirmado que tendremos Pokémon Legendarios y Batallas de 1 VS 1 en Pokémon GO este Verano.
«Because of the huge success, we had to delay some planned news. Now, we are working in announcing new updates for this summer (North hemisphere), like giving more value to the choice of teams, lauching Legendary Pokémon and battles between the players. One thing which we learned with «Ingress» is that the game sustains itself if we are capable to create social interactions between the trainers, and we are working on that.»
Aunque esto no debe tomarse como una confirmación Oficial, parece ser que la Frase «Será un Verano Legendario» de hace un par de días, podría comenzar a tomar sentido en el corto plazo.
