Después de mucho esperar el día de hoy Platinum Games ha confirmado que se encuentra trabajando en una IP de su propiedad llamada hasta el momento: Project G.G. Pueden ver el Teaser trailer de este anuncio a continuación:
Project G.G. se encuentra bajo la dirección de Hideki Kamiya (actual Director de la Desarrolladora). Algunos detalles del desarrollo de este título se muestran a continuación:
– First game Platinum owns the IP of 100% and are self-publishing
– Game challenges and is completely different than anything they’ve made before
– Says “Viewtiful Joe is a transformative hero like Kamen Rider”, “Wonderful 101 is a hero squadron”, “GG is a huge hero”
– The action feel is important but not the only focus
– Goal is to have 100 people working on it
– 15 people actively working on it now but team is expanding
– Platinum will open a new studio in Tokyo for around 100 people
– Tencent offered to publish and fund this game, but refused because they want full control and ownership of this particular game
De momento no hay muchos detalles al respecto, incluso ni si quiera se sabe en qué plataformas será lanzado el título aunque hay MUCHAS posibilidades de que llegue en algún momento al Nintendo Switch debido a que la desarrolladora ha mencionado que pretende lanzar el juego en todas las plataformas actuales.
