Al preguntarle a Eiji Aonuma, actual productor de los Juegos de The Legend of Zelda, sobre una posible Versión HD de Skyward Sword, comentó que la opción esta en el aire y que puede ser una posibilidad.
Comenta también que en The Legend of Zelda: Breath if the Wild, ellos trataron de hacer un Skyward Sword más amplio y mucho mejor, un juego que fuera mucho más grande que la última gran hazaña de Nintendo con la serie de Zelda:
“Yeah it’s definitely possible. As I mentioned earlier in the presentation, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a result of what we wanted to expand and make a better Skyward Sword. It’s like an evolved or expanded version.”
“Putting out an HD version of Skyward Sword and tossing that into the mix might be a little weird,” he said. “It’s always a possibility, so I really don’t know.”
