Introducing Clam Blitz, a new Ranked Mode coming to the Splatoon 2 game starting December 12. In this video, members of the Squid Research Lab managed to grab some fresh new footage and have shared their provide their initial findings. In Clam Blitz, you’ll find clams scattered all over the stage. Collect them, then head to your opponents’ base and toss them into the enemy basket. First team to score 100 points wins! Sounds easy, right? But the baskets are protected by a barrier, which can only be broken by a Power Clam. To create a Power Clam, players must collect 10 regular clams. As you might guess, strategy will definitely be involved! Going forward, Clam Blitz will be in regular rotation alongside the existing Tower Control, Splat Zones and Rainmaker modes.
